French 19th Century Walnut Semainier

Dimensions: 59-¼”h x 37-½”w x 15-½”d

This is a nice French 19th century semainier chest, which is a tall chest with seven drawers for use in a bedroom or dressing room. It is made of walnut with fluted columns on either side of the drawers. Each drawer has a brass escutcheon in the center and brass pulls on either side. The chest is topped with Italian marble, white with gray veins. The whole sits on tapered legs.
