Description
This stunning Art Deco Skyscraper Style streamlined silvered bronze flush semi flush mount chandelier was realized in France circa 1930. It features a hexagonal body silvered bronze replete with a wealth of cubist motifs including striated streamlined forms and skyscraper style fan details. A frosted glass channeled skyscraper style shade descends from the silvered bronze body. With its iconically Art Deco materials and sensibility, this piece is sure to delight discerning collectors of the period as well as those with a penchant for exquisite objects. Its clean modernist lines and monochromatic palate make this piece well suited for any style of interior from classic Deco to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition. The chandelier accommodates one edison based bulb offering up to 100 watts of light.
