This is a French 19th century Louis XVI-style desk made of oak. It has a slanted front that folds down to make a writing surface and reveals six small drawers with wood pulls and open storage areas. In the center compartment, the surface lifts to have access to the back of the center drawer. There is one key which locks the top area. Below are five drawers with brass pulls and brass escutcheons, and they are accented with fluted columns on either side. All sit on tapered legs. Writing Surface: 27-?”H Open Desk: 32”D -
