Milo Baughman Brazilian Rosewood Case Sofa in Black Velvet 1970s Thayer Coggin
-
Description
This Milo Baughman-designed case sofa is constructed of highly figured, book-matched Brazilian rosewood and was produced by Thayer Coggin in 1968. The entire case was professionally finished in semi-gloss lacquer that still allows for the wood grain to be seen which enables it to shine while still retaining a natural appearance. All of the foam and webbing has been replaced and it has been upholstered in a high-performance black velvet by Perennials.
This case sofa stands out from others on the market because of the chunky wood frame and phenomenal wood grain. -
