French Gilt Bronze Box Line Vautrin

Description
A lovely cast bronze powder box (poudrier) by French Parisian art jeweler Line Vautrin (1913-1997) circa 1950-1960s. The box features a geometrically grid top surface with a four by five repetitive squared reliefs that appears to be religious icons. It retains its original mirror and the powder pad inside and is singed on the base as shown.
