Late 1930s Danish Leather Club Chair w/ Velvet Cushion
-
Description
One of those beautiful objects with perfect patina. Created in the late 1930s or early 1940s, Denmark, as a transitional Art Deco leather club chair - somewhat diminutive size and lower to the ground. It has a beautiful shape with exaggerated sloping arms and incredibly comfortable gold velvet down loose cushion seating. Our favorite part of this story is that the chair was originally executed in blue dyed leather and has over time faded back to a perfectly aged brown. There are a few small leather repairs and a couple buttons replaced.
