1st English edition published by Thames & Hudson 1970.
First published in Japan in 1968 with 73 photographs by noted architectural photographer Yukio Futagawa.
This subsequent English edition with Futagawa’s sensitive photos looks at the work of Skidmore, Owings & Merrilll who since the 1950s have been one of the US’s major practitioners of the purist architectural idiom established by the masters of modern International Style - notably Mies van Der RoheCondition:
