The 'Leap' Table

Description
The 'Leap' table is one of a series of furniture pieces that take inspiration from animal forms, I wanted to make a table that suggested the fluid figure of an animal in motion.
– Made from solid pippy English oak.
– The legs are flame-scorched and brushed to enhance the grain.
– The legs and underside of the tabletop are finished with Osmo hard-wax oil.
– The top surface of the table is finished with a water-based product called Blanchon Invisible which gives a natural, almost invisible finish that is very durable with low maintenance that can be easily repaired should it get damaged.
– My initials and maker’s number - 235 - can be found on the underside of the top.
