Striking high back arm chair by Adrian Pearsall immediately adds a sense of Mid Century Modern high art into any space. Tall seat back makes anyone sitting in this Adrian Pearsall chair feel important. Ivory white upholstery with black piping and tufting detail is regal and reminiscent of Saint-Tropez's sexy black and white awnings. Matching original neck pillow is easily adjustable to suit all heights, or it may be removed altogether. Note the angled seat and rear legs. The ergonomic design uses gravity to sit you deeper into the seat and distributes weight evenly for aligned anatomical comfort. The angled seat back and angled arm rests follow in the same vein. Surprisingly very comfortable. Beautifully grained walnut legs and hand rests have original wood stain and finish. A mid century modern chair with an upscale flair by an iconic designer in excellent original condition.
