A futuristic streamlined prototype model for an early diesel locomotive. Designed & built in Germany around 1930. The body is carved from a hard painted wood,and the wheels & trim are steel. It is a large model & fits on LGB toy train tracks. It has an electric motor that operates on a third rail. The train could be operational, but we are selling this as a decorative historic object. Very unusual modern design for the period.
