Description
The 1920s Austrian modernist movement was later labeled the Neues Wiener Wohmen (New Viennese Living) with Josef Frank as a leading architect designer. He emphased lightness and flexibility that rejected the conforming Arts & Crafts period. This all-original stool was designed for the leading Viennese furnishing firm Haus & Garten and manufactured by Thonet-Mundus. Woven hemp in four colors are wrapped on a classic bentwood frame. c1928. Wear and break to hemp.
