MAXIME OLD FRENCH COFFEE OR SIDE TABLE CHERRY WOOD ST GOBAIN GLASS
This coffee or side table is attributed to Maxime Old, one of the great French Art Deco and into the 70's designers.
Round French St Gobain thick original glass on a Cherry wood frame composed of four gently flaring outwardmtapering arms that support the glass with a notched rounded termination. Cherry was an often used wood of the Art Deco, c1940's and later and often used by Maxime Old.
The legs of the table end with polished bronze feet. The bottom structure or wood cross structure is softly arched.
20” h x 29.75” diameter
The St Gobain glass is 27.75" diameter x .75" thick.
The polished bronze feet are 4" x 2" x .5" thick with felt pads. -
