A magnificent pair of neoclassical carved and gilded open armchairs having upholstered backs with molded and carved show wood rails with shaped and carved downswept arms with padded tufts, the upholstered seat also having carved and molded show wood rails resting on turned and fluted legs. English circa 1780. Re-gilded.
