An Unusual French Louis Philippe Ormolu and Jeweled Clock Made for the Ottoman Turkish Market, circa 1840.
The scrollwork case suspending a ribbon-tied floral swag and flanked by fluted column supports mounted with musical trophies, with floral finials and dome to top, the base inset with colored glass.
The white enamel dial with Turkish numerals. 8-day brass French movement with count wheel strike on a bell.
Measures: 25" high x 12" wide x 6" deep
Good condition overall. No damages noted. Normal wear consistent with age and use. We cannot guarantee the timekeeping of the clocks. -
