Description
A sophisticated set of four French 19th century bergeres. Fluted legs, indicative of the Louis XVI style, support the broad chairs with slender elegance. The sturdy wooden frames feature neatly carved swirling patterns, rosettes, and scrolling arms. A down-filled cushion on each wide seat and ivory colored upholstery make this set easy to incorporate into any existing home decor. The worn fabric is in good condition with some staining and discoloration, as to be expected with age and use. Comfortable and deep, the seat height is 19” with the cushion.
