19th c. Swedish Gustavian Period Painted Secretary with Library

Description
This is a beautiful Swedish secretary from the Gustavian period with a richly carved gallery, old locks and hardware. Circa 1810. The upper library has two shelves, the top shaped and slotted, behind two raised panel doors. The lower section has a slanted front with three graduated drawers on either side, seven smaller center drawers, and a center pigeon hole all behind the writing surface. There are three large drawers and one narrow drawer directly below the desk surface. When the desk is open, the surface is 30.75" H and the depth is 36.63".
