18th Century Italian Louis XV Period Carved and Gilded Wood Large Wall Mirror

Description
Magnificent italian venetian large antique wall mirror Louis XV period, 1750s. Hand carved wood with finely and richly swirls and curls. In the upper part a cherub head. Completely covered in gilding which has acquired an ancient patina. We also recommend looking at the photos of the back where you can clearly see the old woods. These large mirrors embellished the ballrooms of the ancient Venetian houses. The mirror is antique mercury, it has small defects caused by the passing of the years, look carefully at the photos.
