French Louis XVI Style Enfilade
-
Description
A stately 19th century French mahogany enfilade featuring a beautiful marble top. Made in the style of Louis XVI with a distinctive profile and clean, uncluttered design. The mahogany has a rich patina that showcases the radiant woodgrains. The white marble has a molded edge and beautiful gray veins throughout. The apron houses four equally sized drawers, all featuring a pair of circular brass pulls. Decorative brass trim adorns the paneling of the drawers and lower doors. The rectangular base is fitted with four storage doors in an enfilade style; three separate storage spaces feature a single adjustable shelf each. Fluting between the doors and ribbed metal plates between the drawers distinguish the different storage spaces below. The whole is supported by eight, turned and fluted legs with brass ormolu and sabot feet. Make sure to view the detailed images for a closer look at this fantastic storage piece! Circa 1890’s
