French 19th Century Rosewood Bibliotheque
-
Description
A handsome solid rosewood bibliotheque, crafted in France circa 1890. Gorgeous arched doors with beveled glass and geometric carvings accentuate the display space at the top of this bookcase. Four adjustable shelves provide plenty of space for your prized art, books, or oddities. A working lock secures the heavy doors. Fluted and wonderfully carved column forms flank the doors. Below the doors, a single drawer is fixed with two decorative bail pulls and a functional lock. Turned, ball feet support the whole. Two keys are included. Cleaned and polished with French wax paste; a fantastic patina envelopes this case piece. Make sure to view the detailed images to get a closer look at the quality craftsmanship and great condition of this bibliotheque!
