1950s rare and exquisite Italian shaped brass mirror with elegant decorative brass element on slightly arched and curved top tapering down towards the curved bottom, attributed to Gio Ponti. This iconic and lyrical scroll top decoration is a fine example of the Novecento design element, which was both classical yet modernist, and was used by Gio Ponti for some of his furniture, mirrors, and other decorative arts pieces.
