Description
This stately 19th century French semainier is the perfect way to add more storage to your space without sacrificing style or square footage. A semainier was originally created in the 18th Century with 7 drawers to hold a week’s supply of clothing. Finished with a rich mahogany veneer and chamfered corners, it’s gained a beautiful patina since it was crafted in the 1850’s. Seven drawers each feature a pair of brass drop rings pulls with laurel wreath details. Five of the seven locks are in working condition, one key is included. All drawers easily open. It has been recently cleaned and polished with French wax paste. Make sure to view the detailed images to get a closer look at the great condition of this semainer.
