Description
The Sëber coffee table is available with a round or square shaped top. It comes with four or eight removable cone shaped legs.
Sëber, shadow in Kurdish, comes from the childhood memory at a central bus stop shelter. The cone shaped legs represent the traditional abaja clothing worn by women while hiding from the heat of the sun.
Made from laminated oak with a stained finish. Custom dimensions available on request.
Hozan Zangana was born in 1983 in Kirkuk. In 1998, at age fifteen, Hozan Zangana fled his country and applied for asylum in The Netherlands. There he studied at the esteemed art and design universities Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and Design Academy Eindhoven. -
