Description
Exceptionally fine George III mahogany demilune sideboard, the richly figured and patinated single board top with holly stringing and mahogany crossbanding, the shallow middle drawer with fitted compartment and flanked by fitted drawers and drawers, all with crossbanding and line inlay, standing on refined square tapered legs with unusual panel carving and ending in elongated spade feet, the whole possessing remarkable color and patination, ex Norman Adams London.
Provenance: Featured in half-page ad in the June 16th, 1974 issue of Country Life by Norman Adams, leading London dealer in fine and important English Furniture. -
