1950s Rectangular Black Skai and Brass Faux Bamboo Side Table by Jacques Adnet
-
Description
Jaques Adnet original rectangular side table with top wrapped in original black skaï and faux bamboo brass legs, France, 1950s. This side table has remained in completely original and very good condition and is free of tears or other significant damage to the original skaï. It's a fine example of iconic French post-war Adnet design in which pieces of furniture, lighting and accessories were meticulously clad in skaï. Adnet’s style of modern furnishings exhibited the avant-garde design and impeccable craftsmanship of French midcentury design which still resonates today.
