Description
"Path to Little Marlow" is a charming moody landscape painting by the well-listed Alfred de Breanski, Sr. The painting was created at the end of the 19th/early 20th century in a post-impressionist style. The painting depicts a figure crossing a small bridge leading to the town of Little Marlow with a church or perhaps ruins appearing in the distance. The painting is beautifully executed in moody tones and retains its original frame, which is also in good condition. The reverse of the painting is inscribed with the title, "Path to Little Marlow" and Alfred de Breanski; the canvas bears the Windsor-Newton Stamp and identification of 70295.
