Pink and green variegated onyx Russian urn shaped vase

$ 2,800
  • Description
    Pink and green variegated onyx Russian urn shaped vase
    Russian, 20th Century
    Height 24cm, width 12cm, depth 11.5cm

    Of slightly oval shape, this excellent mineral specimen piece is an urn-shaped vase made from Russian pink and green onyx, a type of chalcedony, and stands approximately 25cm in height. With a simple and uncluttered design it stands out as a very fine decorative ware, accentuating the fine quality of the mineral. In very good condition, the warm shapes switch from pink to green with splashes of black interspersed. Few interiors would not benefit from the addition of this fine ware.
