Stilnovo is founded in Milan by Bruno Gatta in 1946.
In December 1946 Stilnovo made its first appearance in Domus, where two table lamps and a brass tray were published. In 1949 Bruno Gatta's brother Paolo joined the company.
Stilnovo reaches the height of success at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s. During this period he collaborated with high-profile architects and designers on several projects, among these designers there are also Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, Melchiorre Bega, Gae Aulenti, Joe Colombo and Ettore Sottsass.
Here we have a wall lamp made in brass and lacquered metal. It's very modern because it has an adjustable arm that allows you to decide, both in depth and height, where to direct the light. In this way it could be placed upon a dining table, for example, or on a room corner to illuminate a precised spot or object. The maximum depth of the arm is 107 cm and the diameter of the diffuser measures 39 cm.
Good condition, fully working, fully original.
We recommend a wooden crate for the shipping.
