Sold Sold
  • Description
A fine and decorative Swedish Late Gustavian Empire period gilt and marble console table attributed to Jonas Frisk (master in Stockholm 1805-1824)

    Swedish Circa 1810

The inset bleu turquin marble top over a gilt wood frieze of carved cymatium (sea shells) and pearl boarder above two elaborately carved dolphin supports sitting on a faux black marble wooden base.

A fine quality of carving, proportions and style all point to Jonas Frisk (Swedish 1787-1849).
