Description
17th Century six plank elm Coffer; The plank lid on strap hinges with a run moulded front edge. The front board naively decorated with gouge carved S-scrolls encircling recessed roundels defined with black stain, flanking an infilled lock above a foliate carved lunette. Standing on supporting end planks cut with twin arched feet. English circa 1670
