3 vols, 4to (26.4 x 20.1 cm); hand-finished chromolithographed half-title in volume I, 137 hand-coloured lithographed plates, light foxing, heavier to volume II, affecting some plates, some age-toning; contemporary green half morocco over marbled boards, spines with raised bands, elaborately gilt in six compartments, all edges gilt, yellow endpapers, spines slightly sunned, extremities slightly rubbed, overall an attractive example.
