1920's pair of cast bronze Foo Lion/ Dogs in all original condition. Male and Female, with excellent proportions and a deep, traditional patina. Suitable for any number of Interior or exterior uses.
Chinese guardian lions, or Foo Dogs, are a traditional Chinese architectural ornament, thought to protect the building from harmful spiritual influences. They are often depicted with one male with a ball representing the material elements and one female with a cub, representing the element of spirit. -
