Description
4 Volumes. Cervantes, Don Quixote. Bound in full brown morocco with the covers displaying ornate floral gilt and open tooling. Raised bands, ornately gilt-tooled with panels displaying a knight's armor, floral detailing, and label lettering in gilt and open tooling. All of the edges are gilt-tooled. Translated from the original Spanish by Charles Jarvis, Esq. Embellished with 24 highly finished engravings from drawings designed expressly for this edition. Published by T. M'Lean in London, 1819.
