Beautiful reclining lounge chair and ottoman designed by Ib Kofod-Larsen for Selig freshly upholstered rich hand sewn Oatmeal Shearling. Hailing from 1950s Denmark, this Scandinavian Modern Ib Kofod-Larsen chair is in excellent original condition with no structural repairs or alterations. Scandinavian Modern furniture is iconic for its seamless merger of quality, style and function. Built to last generations with its solid walnut frame and legs, this particular Ib Kofod-Larsen reclining lounge chair is unique with its fully upholstered seat, back and arms newly upholstered in oatmeal sheepskins. You can't help but be drawn to run your hand over the chair. The oatmeal color is warm and inviting and contrasts well the rich walnut grain. Cozy thick seat cushion and a curved seat back with both lumbar and cervical spine support. That studied ergonomic seat back design - coupled with mirroring angled arms - work together and produce a sitting experience that's anatomically aligned and comfortable. The chair seems to naturally place you where it wants you. Matching original ottoman also adjusts to keep you comfy at all angels.
