Superb and rare architect's table with mechanism from the 18th century circa 1760 in the Chippendale style and period in mahogany.
the hinged, easel top with an articulated sprung book ledge. This allows you to adjust the height to put a book and removable book rest .
The face of the table is also removable and rests on wheels. Once it is unfolded. a leather writing table appears. This one is also adjustable in height.
In addition two drawers appear on the sides. A retractable candle slides on one side and a compartments and a quadrant ink drawer o the other side.
It rests on a base with straight legs ending with casters.
