19th Century French Alsace Milk Pitcher

Sold Sold
  • Description
    - Originally used for milk, this jaspé pitcher was made by hand in Alsace, France during the 19th century. This piece features a hand-pressed handle and the earthen colors synonymous with the jaspé glazing technique, which is characterized by marbled swirls.

    - A true example of utilitarian art, we love using these pieces as vessels for wildflowers (we recommend using a liner), paintbrushes, or kitchen utensils.
