French Mahogany & Marble Empire Style Enfilade

This stunning Empire style enfilade was crafted in France in the early 20th century. Topped with its original piece of green marble shaped according to the mahogany body. A bank of three drawers reside within the apron and feature wonderful brass Empirically styled ormolu. The center drawer is fit with an escutcheon depicting a pair of swans drinking out of a fountain and drop ring pulls with laurel decoration. The side drawers use their decorative keys as pulls. All three drawers feature functioning locks and three decorative keys. Each lower door is fit with an escutcheon with palm motifs that complement the drawers. All doors have functioning locks and three keys are included. Turned columns with brass capitals and bases flank the center doors. The whole is raised capsule shaped front feet. The bookmatching work is quite fine craftsmanship. Make sure to view the detailed images to get a closer look.
