French 19th Century Louis XVI Style Queen Bed

Description
A very handsome Louis XVI style queen sized bed from France, crafted during the 1880’s with fantastic mahogany. Arched bombe headboard with impressive gilt bronze ormolu surround the frame in scrolling foliate motifs. Wonderfully shaped stretchers with bolted iron supports remain strong for continued everyday use. Each leg is fit with a detailed cast bronze paw foot.
