Stilnovo Pendant Lamp in Glass, Metal and Brass details, 60s
-
Description
Stilnovo is founded in Milan by Bruno Gatta in 1946.
In December 1946 Stilnovo made its first appearance in Domus, where two table lamps and a brass tray were published. In 1949 Bruno Gatta's brother Paolo joined the company.
Stilnovo reaches the height of success at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s. During this period he collaborated with high-profile architects and designers on several projects, among these designers there are also Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, Melchiorre Bega, Gae Aulenti, Joe Colombo and Ettore Sottsass.
Here we have a pendant lamp with satin glass and lacquered metal diffuser and brass details realized by Stilnovo in 50s. It can be adjusted in height.
Presence of the original brand mark as shown in photos.
Good condition, fully original and fully working.
We recommend a wooden crate for shipping as it is very fragile.
The light can be rewired for US standards upon request. -
