This sophisticated modernist three tier occasional table was realized in the United States circa 1990. It features three rectangular tiers with mirrored centers that adjoin to rectangular side supports that split into compass style tapered feet- all in solid bronze. The compass legs, evident in a lot of iconic French Mid Century design (a la Prouve) lends this piece a classic sensibility while the austere silhouette and modernist materials give it resonances of the avant garde. With its monochromatic palate, clean modernist lines, and superlative construction, this piece is as versatile as it is aesthetically compelling. It would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. It is in excellent vintage condition.
