Description
The encompassing field abrashes from sky blue to powder to virtually sand, with diagonally in-projecting rust spadiform corners. The cartouche-shaped red subfield is centred by a navy, diamond shaped palmette medallion with double longitudinal pendants and en suite lateral pendants. Additional navy diagonal medallion pendants. Navy strip-style border with palmettes, lancet leaves and broken stems. Cotton foundation. Moderate/coarse weave. Good condition with a cotton foundation. Tastefully innovative village work.
