          A La Vieille Russie, established in 1851, is a New York antiques gallery specializing in European and American antique jewelry and Imperial Russian works of art. The firm's focus also includes 18th century European gold snuff boxes and objects of vertu. World renowned for its collection of artworks by Russian Imperial Court Jeweler Carl Fabergé, A La Vieille Russie helped create the great Fabergé collections now a part of major American museums. A family enterprise since its founding in Kiev, the gallery has been at its present location on Fifth Avenue since 1961. A La Vieille Russie continues its tradition of organizing significant loan exhibitions, including most recently Russian Imperial porcelain from Peterhof Palace, and 'Golden Years of Fabergé: Objects and Drawings from the Wigström Workshop'. A La Vieille Russie exhibits annually at various major art fairs worldwide.
