DeKor
DeKor is a premier artistic space in the Arts District of historic downtown San Pedro, California. It promotes the arts in many ways. Part fine art gallery, part antiques and vintage shop, part ’shop of curiosities’ and part Architectural studio, its owner, Laureen Claire Vivian, has created a space and collection reflecting her many interests and profession. Co−Founder of the Michail Lombardo Art Gallery at 19 E. 69th St. in NYC in 1997, she sourced and curated Modern and Contemporary Art from Europe and Latin America. Now, some of these selected pieces are now available through DeKor. LcV Architectural Design & Interiors, her design firm, renovated the Art Deco building and designed the space that houses DeKor. On display are her own sumptuously designed, Epnos’, Neo−classical Dog Beds − made to order − "Architecture for Pets." DeKor offers a variety of objects, fine and contemporary art, carefully selected collection of furnishings, sourced mainly in Europe, from Art Deco to Biedemeier (her specialty), 18th century etchings, fine bronze sculptures, unique vintage finds, MCM lighting fixtures and more.
