          Jane Coats Eckert’s roots are in 19th & early 20th century American artists on whom she has written & lectured.  In 1996 she opened Eckert Fine Art in Naples, FL where she formed a business relationship and friendship with Robert Rauschenberg. She curated shows on Rauschenberg at three museums. She specializes in art by Christo, Don Gummer, Robert Cottingham, Sol Lewitt, James Turrell, Hunt Slonem, Chizuru Morii Kaplan and is the exclusive representative of realist artist, Eric Forstmann.

Eckert Fine Art has placed important artworks with museums and collectors by Jean-Michel Basquiat , Giorgio de Chirico, Niki de Saint Phalle, Roy Lichtenstein, Henry Moore and John Chamberlain.

Ms. Eckert has served as Chair of the Director’s Advisory Council at MASS MoCA, as Secretary of the Fine Art Dealer’s Association and was previously named one of the 25 Most Influential People in Litchfield, CT.
