Green River Stone Company offers the world’s finest museum quality fossil art, furniture, and interior design elements for those with discerning taste. Each stone is unearthed in our private quarry in southwestern Wyoming, the site of a 50 million year old lakebed, considered to be one of the world’s premier sites for discovering fossils. In the quarry, our geologist and his expert crew remove stone, layer-by-layer, in search of ancient fossil treasures. Once found, our team of paleontologists and craftsmen spend hour upon hour painstakingly chipping away the stone that covers the fossils, revealing their most intricate details, creating beautiful works of natural art.
