Purveyor of Distinctive Timeless Treasures on Paper: Timeless Intaglio is an online gallery of rare and collectable antiquarian prints, maps and books. Although we specialize in all forms of vintage printed works on paper, the majority were created with the intaglio method of transferring ink from a plate, usually copper, to paper with a technique utilizing pressure generated by a press. We at Timeless Intaglio are passionate about offering distinctive timeless treasures. Antique prints, maps and books have been in the possession of many individuals in their past. If only they could tell us the people they have come in contact with throughout their lives. Some will have been famous or notorious; perhaps royalty, scholars, inventors, wealthy industrialists, explorers, artists, museums and their curators, etc. We are only temporary custodians of these treasures. Despite their relative fragility, they have outlived generations of owners. We enjoy them for a while, but we have an obligation to keep them safe for the benefit of future collectors.
