Hudson Yards Aerie (in progress)
Located on the 88th floor of a new build, the interior architecture was reconfigured to accommodate the client's art collection consisting of large scale pieces.
Furniture groupings are "floated" in the center of the spaces to allow for optimal viewing of the artwork and stunning views.
The most controversial gesture was to add a new interior wall partition with a niche to obscure the view when entering the unit and to allow for one to discover the views and to create a flowing gallery space.
