A Fabulous modern interpretation of the traditional Japanese " Tansu " chest by Baker, circa 1970. Stained oak with Beautiful forged wrought iron hardware. One chest configured in drawers, the other with a large open compartment and a single drawer. Dramatic and functional pieces which may serve as end tables or night stands. The pair may also serve as a larger credenza when aligned together. Excellent Restored Condition. Retains the Maker mark.
