Raised bands, dotted in gilt tooling with panels displaying bordering, central floral details, and label lettering, all gilt-tooled. The top edge is gilt with marbled endpapers. This edition is an expansive collection of photographs and details of English homes from 1066 to 1760. Illustrated throughout. Published by Charles Scribner's Sons in New York, and George Newnes as well as at the Offices of Country Life in London, 1921.
