Boucheron

French
Founded by Frederic Boucheron in 1858, Boucheron is both one of the longest standing and most prestigious crafters of French jewelry on the market. Known primarily for its vintage jewelry collections, it has 34 boutiques located across the globe, with its illustrious shop Place Vendôme still remaining in operation today, and over 100 certified retailers.

After finding success with its symbolic Serpent Boheme line created in the 1970s, Boucheron launched several extensive collections of jewelry and watches throughout the early aughts (chief among them, the "Jaipur" High Jewellery line in 2004 and the Quatre collection the following year) before expanding into the worlds of perfume, pens, and even high-end mobile phones. But to most, Boucheron will forever be associated with its incredibly cut diamonds, for which it has developed its own classification system for determining the value of diamonds under the name B.I.R.D. (Boucheron International Rating of Diamonds).
