Description
A refined French giltwood and gesso frame, circa 1900, in the Louis XVI Revival style. The large rectangular frame features a delicately carved central ribbon crest at the top, a hallmark of neoclassical design, with blocked corners adorned with stylized rosettes. The composition is balanced by a lower central foliate embellishment, adding symmetry and decorative interest. Suitable for mirror or artwork display. Frame interior - Ht: 37.25", Wd: 29.75"
